Shortcut keys and cursor functions & symbols |

Cursors: When you point the cursor to a function, the name of the function appears (bubble help). In the work area the cursor changes its form whenever you can perform an action. Select the action by holding down the left mouse button and dragging the object. Made a mistake? Just hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse over the mistake (painting and erasing) and the original image will reappear. All modes: Colouration, Appearance, Actions modes:

Keys & mouse buttons combinations: Sometimes layers will obscure other layers which are then hard to reach. To browse through overlapping layers, click on them while pressing Ctrl. The active layer will change sequentially, and will be indicated by a frame around it and its name in the info line. Right-click on a layer to open a pop-up menu with additional options to hide, delete or bring/send the layer to the front/back. Pressing the arrow keys on your keyboard while holding down Ctrl will move the active layer by one pixel in the corresponding direction. If you press Ctrl and Shift at the same time, the arrow keys will move the active layer by ten pixels.
