INTRODUCTION
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WELCOME TO LAWNMOWER RACING MANIA 2007(TM)

Welcome to Lawnmower Racing Mania 2007 and welcome to the wild sport of
USLMRA Lawnmower Racing! You may have heard about it on TV, or even seen it in
a movie... still, you may not have believed your eyes. But yes, people do race
lawnmowers and believe it or not, they race them FAST!

To an outsider, lawnmower racing may seem kind of funny, but attend a live race,
and you'll see that this is just as serious and even more action packed than
just about any other form of racing.

So put on your helmet, tighten up your body armor, and make sure there's gas in
the tank... 'cause once we're mowin', there ain't no slowin'!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To begin the installation process, insert the disc into your CD-ROM/DVD drive. The
AutoRun screen should appear. Click on the Install button to begin the installation
process.

If the AutoRun screen does not appear, double-click the My Computer icon on your
desktop followed by a double-click on your CD_ROM/DVD icon. Find
LawnmowerRacingMania2007Setup.exe and double-click on it to begin installation.

Once the installer is running, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the
installation of Lawnmower Racing Mania 2007.

During installation you will be asked to install Microsoft's DirectX(R). If you
already have the latest version of DirectX(R), you can still safely answer "yes"
to the DirectX(R) installation as it will never "downgrade" your current version.
If you chose not to install DirectX(R), installation of the game will continue,
but the game may not run until you install the latest version of DirectX(R).

To start the game once installation is complete, double-click the Lawnmower Racing
Mania 2007 icon on your desktop or do the following:

 - Click on the Windows(R) Start button
 - Select Programs.
 - Select Lawnmower Racing Mania 2007 folder
 - Select Lawnmower Racing Mania 2007 icon

Let's mow!

KNOWN ISSUES
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When running under Windows 98 a problem has been reported by some users if the
game is run in a fullscreen resolution that matches the desktop resolution.
Users have reported that a mouse cursor is visible, and clicking the mouse may
cause the game to hang. Some users have also reported that certain animated
graphics from websites may flicker through the game screen. If you experience
either of these problems, simply run the game in a different resolution than the
desktop is currently using. For example, if the desktop is in 1024x768, running
the game in 800x600 should prevent these issues.

On some Windows 98 systems, pressing [Alt][Tab] to task-switch away from the game
multiple times may prevent you from returning to the game.

Some Windows 98 users have reported problems running on certain Nvidia GeForce
cards (5700 and below).

Some users with ATI Radeon video cards have reported missing ground textures
when running at very high resolutions of 1600x1200 or greater.

If you are using a Microsoft Xbox 360(TM) Controller for Windows(R), be sure to
install the driver. This will enable rumble support and fully independent brake
and throttle control.

Some users have reported problems when pressing [Ctrl][Alt][Del] to bring up the
Windows(R) task manager. If you encounter problems, we recommend that you
avoid pressing [Ctrl][Alt][Del] during gameplay.

Gamepad rumble is currently supported only on Microsoft Xbox 360(TM) Controllers
for Windows(R).

PERFORMANCE HINTS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On older machines, or systems with older 3D graphics cards, the following hints
may help improve performance:

- Reduce the Number of Racers
Reducing the number of mowers in a game can dramatically improve performance
on slower machines. Each mower requires physics and AI calculations which can
  put stress on older systems.

- Turn Off Clouds and Dust
Older video cards may show an improvement when the clouds and dust are disabled.
This can be done from the Video menu.

- Multiplayer Hints
In multiplayer mode, the scene needs to be drawn several times, which can
cause the game to run slower on older computers. Reduce the detail levels on
the Video menu and disable clouds and dust to improve the speed of the game.
Also, reducing the number of computer-controlled mowers in a multiplayer match
  can help improve the frame-rate.

NOTE: In multiplayer mode, the keyboard is used to control the "last" player.
For example, if two game pads are plugged in, the keyboard can be used to
control player 3 in a multiplayer race.

damaged if the terms of this License Agreement were not specifically enforced,
and therefore you agree that Licensor shall be entitled, without bond, other

by such prevailing party in the litigation.

11. Limitations on License. Nothing in this License Agreement shall preclude you

Program, provided, however, that (1) such new copy or adaptation is created as
an essential step in your utilization of the Program in accordance with the
terms of this License Agreement and for NO OTHER PURPOSE; or (2) such new copy
or adaptation is for archival purposes ONLY and all archival copies are
destroyed in the event of your Transfer of the Program, the Termination of this
Agreement or other circumstances under which your continued use of the Program
ceases to be rightful.

12. Miscellaneous. This License Agreement shall be deemed to have been made and
executed in the State of California, and any dispute arising hereunder shall be
resolved in accordance with the law of California. You agree that any claim
asserted in any legal proceeding by one of the parties against the other shall
be commenced and maintained in any state or federal court located in the State
of California, County of Los Angeles, having subject matter jurisdiction with
respect to the dispute between the parties. This License Agreement may be
amended, altered or modified only by an instrument in writing, specifying such
amendment, alteration or modification, executed by both parties. In the event
that any provision of this License Agreement shall be held by a court or other
tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, such provision will be
enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining portions of this
License Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. This License Agreement
constitutes and contains the entire agreement between the parties with respect
to the subject matter hereof and supersedes any prior oral or written
agreements.

I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand the foregoing License
Agreement and agree that the action of installing the Program is an
acknowledgment of my agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of the
License Agreement contained herein. I also acknowledge and agree that this
License Agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement
between Licensor and myself and that the License Agreement supersedes any prior
or contemporaneous agreement, either oral or written, and any other
communications between Licensor and myself.
