Go Fish Help

#!1#Go Fish#

#2#Game Overview#
Go Fish is an exchange to collect card game. Object of play is to get four cards of matching rank, called a book, by simply asking other players. If the requested card is not hold by the player, who has been asked, will say "Go fish!" and the player in turn will have to draw a card from the "pond".

#!3#Rules#

#4#Basics#
Using a standard deck of 52 cards each player is dealt five cards. The remaining cards are spread out on the table and form the "pond". Play is clockwise. In turns players ask each other for cards of a particular rank. Players can not ask for cards they are not holding.

#5#Books#
Any time a player holds four cards of matching rank he or she puts them face up on the table and scores a point. Optionally pairs instead of quartets can form a book.

#6#Go fish!#
If a player is asked for a card the player does not hold in his or her hand, he or she will say "Go fish!" which implies, that the player in turn will have to draw a card from the "pond". Otherwise the requested card is handed over and the player in turn can ask for another card.

#7#Special Rules#
Discard pairs instead of quartets: You only need two instead of four cards to form a book.

If a player runs out of cards: You can choose what happens next. Either the game ends or the player has to draw another 1 or 5 cards from the "pond". Regularly 5 cards are drawn.

#8#End Of Game#
The game ends, when there are no more cards in the "pond" to draw from and all cards have been put face up on the table. The player with the most points at the end wins the game. If a player runs out of cards before the game has ended, he or she will draw another five cards from the pond. Optionally the game ends, when a player runs out of cards.
