FAQ
---

Q. How do I return to Quest mode after replaying a board?

After you've finished replaying a board, you will see a window pop up with
options to Play Board or return to the Main Menu. Simply click on the Main Menu
button, then click on Start to continue playing in Quest mode.

Q. When I "Skip Ahead" a level, why does it take away two lives?

Accepting the offer to "Skip Ahead" after losing a board three or more times
in a row will cost one life. However, you have also just lost the current board
and that also takes away one of your lives.

Q. I lost the same board three times in a row, but why can't I "Skip Ahead"?

* You don't have enough lives to barter.
* You may have already turned down the offer to skip ahead on that board.
* You're playing in "Replay Mode."
* Your rank is Researcher. Researchers can't skip ahead.

Q. What is turned off when the High Detail setting is unchecked in the Options?

* The statues do not animate during game play.
* The points that pop up when a match is made are not shown.
* Screen fades are changed to a pixelated transition.
* The game doesn't fade in or out when the game is paused.
* When in Full Screen mode, the graphics will animate more quickly, but not
quite as nicely. If High Detail is turned on or off while in Full Screen mode,
the change won't occur until the next time the game enters Full Screen mode.

Troubleshooting
---------------

This software has been tested extensively to make sure it will operate
correctly for all users. If you experience system crashes, error messages or
other incorrect behavior, we suggest you first try one of the following:

1) Upgrade your computer's sound card drivers. This can be done by identifying
the type of sound card your computer is using and finding the manufacturer's web
site. Or, most drivers will be automatically updated if you follow step #2.

2) Upgrade DirectX. This is a Microsoft component and it includes special
drivers for video cards and sound cards for virtually every manufacturer. It is
therefore a very large download, but updating DirectX solves nearly all system
problems encountered with GameHouse games.
