[ENV.REF.08] Generators

<i infocomp/envref08 0 0

Field equipment is usually powered with one of the
three kinds of generators; Power nodes, petrol
generators and power panels.

[Power nodes]

Power nodes are hi-tech power generators. Some nodes
are mounted on devices themselves, but most of them
come as high-voltage generator units. Disable all the
connected power nodes and you'll bring down the
connected device or its high-energy shields.

To disable a power node, shoot it until it overheats
and turns off the energy current.

[Petrol generators]

Compared to power nodes petrol generators seem
old-fashioned, but they are cheap and reliable. These
generators are operated by a nearby trigger switch and
are too durable to be disabled simply by shooting them.

[Power panels]

Power panels are small, wall-mounted power nodes used
to power some devices with less demand for energy.
Like with the power nodes, shoot them to bring down
the connected device.
