Nagging Members
Members can be told to perform one of several jobs while they are not performing in a concert. You can assign a member to a task by mousing-over their photo next to map and clicking Nag Em. Members will perform that task until they are too stressed to continue, at which point they will take a break until they feel better. An unhappy member may stop obeying you, so watch out.
You can assign a member to the following tasks...

Chilling - The member rests whenever he/she gets a chance, decreasing stress and increasing happiness but not accomplishing anything besides that.

Writing Songs - The member spends time writing songs, gradually raising his/her Songwriting skill level and also producing new songs for the band at random intervals.

Practicing Instrument - The member spends downtime sharpening his/her instrumental skills. The member's Instrumental Skill gradually increases, along with the member's ROCK rating.

Practicing All Songs - The member practices all the band's songs evenly. This increases his/her familiarity with every song gradually.

Practicing Best Songs - The member spends time practicing songs, spending more time on songs with higher quality ratings.

Practicing Unfamiliar Songs - The member spends their time practicing the songs he/she is personally least familiar with.

Practicing Show Song List - The member will spend time practicing the songs on the set list for the last show you booked.

Balancing time between these tasks without overworking your members is challenging, but experiment around with them and you'll find out what works best for your style of play.
