Joining EA SPORTS™ Online:

Joining EA SPORTS™ Online (EASO) is easy and free!* With the purchase of this game you are entitled to 60 days of free online game time. With each additional participating EA SPORTS™ game you purchase, you are entitled to another 60 days of free online game time. By visiting www.ea.com you can fill in a questionnaire for up to two more months of free online game time!

To create an account you must JOIN EA SPORTS™ Online. To join, click on the "JOIN NOW" button in the top portion of the Home Page or click on any EA SPORTS™ Online feature from the menu and a JOIN NOW! option appears.

When you join EA SPORTS™ Online you may use an existing EA.com account or create a new one from scratch. You may also use an existing AOL, AIM, CompuServe 2000, or Netscape AOL Instant Messenger name**.

You must be at least 13 years old to join. Those between the ages of 13 and 17 will be required to provide the email address of a parent or legal guardian, but may still participate.

We recommend that you view the Privacy Policy located under the ABOUT menu before joining.

The Home Page provides access to your personal features of the service, as well as information, news, contests and other information concerning the world of EA SPORTS™ Online. You must be logged in with a valid account to view this personalized information.

The Home Page also provides regular news and updates concerning EA SPORTS™ Online. Check back here often for information about new features, special promotions, and current events.

Getting Ahead Online

Stay involved and get rewarded. EASO is a dynamic community of online gaming fans, and membership has its perks.

The EASO currency is the token. You earn tokens for starting clubs, creating matchups, playing in tournaments and matchups, winning side games, and more. You can spend tokens on tournament entry fees and entry fees for sweepstakes contests.

Attached to your EA SPORTS™ Online Profile is your personal Level. Levels are a measurement of your participation in online services, and not a measurement of your actual performance like the Rating. Be an active member in EASO, its clubs, and its tournaments, and you can climb Levels, from Rookie all the way up to Legend.

Attached to your EA SPORTS™ Online Profile is your personal Rating. Member Ratings are a measurement of your actual performance.
