Create Tournament

Ever wanted to run your very own pro tournament? With EA SPORTS™ Online, the Club Manager gets to decide the time and place! Create a tournament specifically for your Club members.

Tournaments can only happen inside one's own club. There are no tournaments between clubs for this version of EA SPORTS™ Online.

Club tournaments allow you to compete against other members of your club to practice and develop your online skills as well as determine who is the best player in your club. Tournaments use a two-bracket single-elimination format. Winners of each round will advance to the next round and the losers will be dropped from the tournament.

Only one tournament can exist at any given time for a particular club. To create a tournament click CREATE in the left navigation bar. There are two steps to create a tournament.

Step 1: Enter a tournament name, select the game mode (5 on 5 or 1 on 1), start date and time, and round length. You may also make the tournament ranked by clicking the checkbox next to Ranked Game.

Step 2: Choose the Club members that you wish to participate in the tournament. You may select the first round matchups randomly or by the rating of the members participating in the tournament. To select random, click RANDOM in the Autofill column. To select by rating, click RATING in the Autofill column. To complete tournament setup click FINISH.

Following creation, the Club Manager can manage the tournament by clicking MANAGE in the left navigation bar. When the tournament has been completed or terminated, the Club Manager may create a new tournament using the CREATE option in the left navigation bar.
