Caster

    Caster is a third person action shooter.  You must free your world from the Flanx that have infested the land.

 
Installation

    Run InstallCaster.exe and follow the instructions.  Caster requires Windows XP or Vista, a 1GHz or faster processor, 64MB or more of RAM, a 3D graphics accelerator, and OpenGL 1.1.
 

Controls

    * Use A, S, W, D to move.  Double tap in a direction to start dashing.
    * Use the space bar to jump.
    * Move mouse to aim at targets.
    * Hold left mouse button to charge your attack.  Release it to cast your attack.
    * Press the right mouse button to switch attacks or use:
      - Number keys.
      - Page up, page down.
      - Mouse wheel.
    * Tab toggles the HUD.
    * F5 takes an in game screen shot and saves it to the directory with caster.exe.


Commandline Options

    * Command line usage: caster.exe <arg0> <arg1> ...
      Example: "caster.exe --tools --scene data/maps/tutorial.scn

      --help               Brings up this help text.
      --scene <file name>  Loads and runs this particular scene.
      --tools              Activates in game development tools.
                                Once in a map, use the following:
                                - CTRL-e: Start map editor.
                                - CTRL-c: Toggle collision visibility.
                                - CTRL-n: Run the script "data/test.script".
                                - CTRL-t: Slow down time, CTRL - SHIFT - t to reset.
                                - CTRL-ENTER: Fully reload the current map.
