Hello people, and mabuhay! (<---long live) This is my first MUGEN
attempt on making a character.

I set this release to attract feedback, and contribute to the MUGEN
community.... Well, he's not as complete and doesn't play like as he was
in The Last Blade 2, but he plays now more kinda like Strider, with the
same strength and unique style that he is known for in Last Blade. His
2-hit attacks are all here, and more.

--------------------------------------------Last update at January 5, 2000!

- Now updated to the new MUGEN standard, he is no longer backward
  compatible.
- Anonymity 5 tweaks. This is now quite short.
- Anonymity Severance graphical fix. It should look complete now, unlike
  before.
- Used ExplodAnim for the lightning effects.
- Anonymity 1 now multihits. Speed also changed to conform to the original
  speed in LB2.
- Anonymity 2 is in, but not all types--will be fixed later.

-----------------------------------------------What needs to be implemented.

1. Make the moves execute even when standing!
2. All Anonymity X attacks....
3. Complete his autoguard super.
4. Find a way to emulate the effects of Anonymity Ultimate Continuation.
5. Lightning effect during Anonymity 5 with makeexplod.
6. Fix all pallate disorders.
7. Stun with blocked standing sword attacks?
8. Close C fix

------------------------------------------------------------------Storyline:

Setsuna is a dark, but not demonic creature from the world of the dead
who hates the living things, even his body. He may look young, but his
soul is the blackest, filled with the darkest of evil... well, he is the
one who slices life, as Kouryu Gaisei declares... Because of his evil
aura, it killed Hibiki's father, Genzou, who made his sword.

In present life, he's out here to look for some answers... regarding
himself hating life.. >:P

---------------------------------------------------------------Instructions:

Specify the destination directory in the "chars" directory of MUGEN.
Then, in there, name another subdiectory called "Setsuna."

----------------------------------------------------------Gameplay Overview.

Setsuna's trademark is his 2-hit button attacks. They are here too, and are
designed to be comboable. His asset lies mainly on his high-ranged
sword, called "The Blade of Eighty Days", named after the number of days
spent in crafting this dark weapon.  He also dons the power of
lightning.

So far, new attacks to compensate for the 6 button layout has been set,
and to my surprise, his range and gameplay is not so distant from his
Neo-Geo incarnation. In contrast to the old 3 button layout in The Last
Blade 2 (excluding parry, which is, IMO better done by tapping FORWARD)
Setsuna now has 3-6 Slash animations, and 3 Kick buttons. He now plays
somewhat like Strider Hiryu in terms of combos, with his Anonymity 1 as
the Ame no Murakumo....hmmm...that would be cool.

Because of his long range, many people tend to abuse such character, but
his speed in some attacks is left to be desired and adjusted to.

Like Orochi, he can grab the chi of a character and crush it. ;)

----------------------------------------------------------------------Moves

Be wary that MUGEN uses a Sega Saturn-type of controls; X,Y,Z, A,B,C,
and that some buttons are not available for all characters. In the case
of Setsuna, ALL are available.

If your button orientation is at A-Z, please change it to X-C. Well,
don't blame me, it's the configuration I got when I first downloaded
MUGEN.

My characters cannot have less or more than 6 buttons. I know, it's my
taste of perfection. >:P

Anonymity 1
A hadoken-type move that can slice projectiles. Once hit, it will shock
the enemy in black lightning.

QCF + P

Anonymity 2
What do you expect? This shoryuken is giga-ass big!

DP + P

Anonymity 3
A dashing lightning attack (Think of Orochi Chris' overhead attack) that
must be blocked high.

QCB + P

Anonymity 5
Setsuna holds out his sword, and lighting flashes at him. In the original
game, he flashes black, and has autoguard. In the MUGEN port, he leaves
trails and his attacks become deceptively fast (or so I think) He is
also surrounded by lightning.

QCB + K

Anonymity: Ultimate Confrontation
Setsuna will hit the enemy, and a large pane of glass will appear before
the enemy, stunned. He'll smear blood, grab something from the hara
(center) of the enemy, and will jump away. Then as he crushes the chi,
the glass shatters. Setsuna will gain life if this is done as an SDM.

HCF+xyz (To be implemented)

Anonymity: Final
This is a self-made super move. Setsuna will run to the enemy, and when
caught, he will hit him/her. The enemy will go to his/her dizzy stance,
and Setsuna will attack him/her with slashes, just like Moriya's
MidareSetsu. When done, he will stab the enemy, grab, raise, then drop
with shock. And a kick to top it all off.

x, x, F, a, z (to be implemented)

Anonymity: Destruction
If you thought Anonymity: Severance was a killer, this self-made special
move is even worse! Set as a low-life super, Setsuna is in his charge
stance in Anonymity: Severance super. When released, it releases a
massive shockwave. Well, it has heavy chip damage, and come to think of
it, it's FULL SCREEN!!!

----------------------------------------------------------------Some bugs:

Thanks to SFUNPACK.exe, I was able to retrieve his sprites, so I was
able to somehow contiue his work. He has been updated to my character
standards, and has been used with SPRMAKER with the crop and eliminate
duplicate option. His sound file has been reduced to 22050 as well.

Still, because his SFF file is GRAPHICS INTENSIVE, it may crash the engine
which has lower ram (Something like 32mb). And if you're running MUGEN
in a dos box in windows, it is recommended that you set the DPSMI
Settings (found under the memory tab of your MS-DOS Prompt settings) and
type over it the numbers 65535. This will give access to all resources
the system has. ;)

If nothng works, try reducing the number of stages you are using.
Chances are, many of them are actually byte-consuming!
