Welcome to the Heavyweight Thunder tutorial!l1
Here you'll learn the basics about playingl1
the game. Let's get started. Click thel1
green arrow to continue.
This is your health bar. If it goes all thel1
way down, you'll get knocked out. It refillsl1
slightly if you don't take damage for a moment,l1
so remember to pull back from time to time.
This bar is your stamina bar. The lower itl1
goes, the weaker your punches, and the harderl1
you feel any damage. If it begins to changel1
color, you're getting tired. Remember, thisl1
is boxing, not a slug fest. Don't just throwl1
random punches, make them count!
The W A S D keys are used to move around the ring.
 Double tap the W A S D keys to dash. You havel1
to wait a brief moment between consecutive dashes.
The mouse is used to perform all attacks. Thel1
left mouse button is for left-handed attacks,l1
while the right mouse button controlsl1
right-handed attacks.
To perform more complex moves, hold a mousel1
button and move the mouse appropriately.
For a full listing of attacks and moves, seel1
the moves list available from the previous menu.
You can perform combos by rapidly executing al1
series of moves. A list of combo moves isl1
available in the Moves list.
You can perform high and low blocks.l1
To block high attacks, press nothing and you will autoblock.l1
Press the space bar to block low attacks.
You can tell if an incoming attack is highl1
or low by looking at the red and green iconl1
that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Some final tips: always watch your stamina.l1
The quickest way to lose is by tiring youself out.l1
If you're too tired, you won't even be able to block!
Also, it's very important to switch betweenl1
high and low attacks to keep your opponentl1
guessing. If you're too predictable, yourl1
opponent will block more of your hits.
That's basically it. Getting into the game should be very easyl1
and intuitive. It's mastering the many nuisances that will bel1
the true challenge. So as always, practice, practice, practice!l2
