A cold steel weapon with a short blade. This weapon is intended mainly for
stabbing rather than cutting. Daggers were used as far back
as the Stone Age, and numerous kinds and varieties of daggers
have been invented since then. This blade is intended for
hand-to-hand combat. In the Middle Ages, daggers were used as left-hand weapons in addition to swords or
rapiers.
