Improve frigate design

Simultaneously with the improvement of the ship of the line came a change in frigate design. New technologies allowed shipbuilders to produce larger hulls and improved rigging. As a consequence, the weight of the board salvo as well as the vessels' speed and manoeuvrability were substantially increased.
